Terms of Service

Last updated: April 11, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Libero mobile application and related services (the "Service"), operated by Libero ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

Libero is a personal recovery companion that helps you track streaks, reflect on your habits and stay grounded during urges. Libero is a wellness tool — it is not a medical device, clinical therapy, or a substitute for professional medical, psychological or psychiatric care. If you are experiencing a mental-health crisis, please contact your local emergency services.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your country) to use Libero. By using the Service you represent that you meet this requirement. If you are under 18, you should review these Terms with a parent or legal guardian.

3. Your Account

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

5. Subscriptions and Payments

Some features of Libero require a paid subscription ("Premium"). Subscriptions are sold through Apple App Store (on iOS) and either Google Play or Stripe (on Android). The following applies:

6. Content and Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, branding, daily motivations and other materials we provide, belongs to Libero and is protected by intellectual-property laws. You retain ownership of any content you enter (check-ins, reflections, notes) — by using the Service you grant us a limited license to store and display it back to you as part of the Service.

7. Disclaimers

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or meet your specific needs.

Libero is not a medical or therapeutic service. Nothing in the Service constitutes medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. Always seek the advice of qualified professionals for any health-related concerns.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Libero and its providers are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or data, arising out of your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months before the event giving rise to the claim, or USD $50, whichever is greater.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time via Settings → Delete Account in the app, or at our web deletion form. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or use the Service in a way that creates risk for us or other users.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Libero is operated, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction, unless local consumer-protection laws give you the right to bring proceedings in your own country.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes we will notify you in the app or by email. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
